Star Eyes ~ Herbal Bath Soak
For honoring our blood, grief, and rage and amplifying prayers. Stars Eyes is a blend held in prayers guidance to tend our vision for another way forward / another world possible. Tending to the eyesight, capacity, and ways that we can dream when all feels against the odds. Woven in love & tears for catalyzing - and deeply protective, helpful for releasing & revitalizing.
Star Eyes was envisioned through the many landscapes experiencing settler-colonizer violence, ecological & kin genocide (all interconnected from the river to the sea, the sea to the shining sea, and beyond) - AND the years of resistance, the ongoing work for Indigenous liberation, Land Back, Right of Return, Allyship, and Restoration work.
This Bath Salt Soak is blended with plants lovingly grown in our medicine garden: Marigold/Cempazuchitl, Rue/Fayjan/Ruda, collected fallen green Ponderosa Pine Needles, flower essence of Pink Tobacco (Shirazi).
From growing different Marigolds / Cempazuchitl grown every year, I noticed how their aroma, color, texture, and wider presence hold space for strengthening connection with the subtle realm. Healing & restructuring; supportive for dreaming work, grief work, protection, reminders of tenderness.
Pine needles called to be here and it felt important to include them in this vision. Their needles are so beautiful, they were called here to support our lungs to open up and offer grounding support, and honestly, there's more I can say. Pine Trees grow in varying climates & continents (including the SWANA, Mesoamerica, and Turtle Island regions)~ connecting us to feel held when all feels scattered and exhausting.
Rue/Fayjan/Ruda is deeply protective, cleansing, and helpful for the "evil eye." They called to be here to support in feeling more embodied & less in the head. Their aroma is sweet, savory, and grounding. (caution if pregnant or trying to conceive.)
Flower Essence of Pink Shirazi Tobacco called to be here, such a potent ally for amplifying prayers & rekindling connection to ourselves and the world. Focus and discern your prayers/intentions.

Ingredients: Amor (love), Pink Salt, Epsom Salt, French Grey Salt, Ponderosa Pine Needles, Marigold (Tagetes patula, erecta, tenuifolia), Rue (Ruta graveolens), Flower essence of Shirazi Tobacco (Nicotiana tobaccum)
How to work with: Set the space. Taking some breaths, you may give gratitude/offer prayers to the water, salts, minerals, and beyond.
¼ cup to a pot with boiled water, steep for 15 mins. Strain & pour into the bath. Or you can add the desired amount into your muslin cloth (to prevent a clogged drain) and may be used in your warm bath, foot soak, etc. For a more potent bath, add more as needed.
Baños (Baths) are supportive during cooler/colder months, mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. You may end with a cold water rinse for extra immune support. May you remember to see & tend to the vision to co-create another world possible with your star eyes.
